*Meaning* : Whatever is not right to be done, must never be done even on pain of death; and what is right to do, must be done even if one should die for the same.

*भावार्थ* : जो कार्य निषिद्ध है, उसे प्राण कण्ठगत (मृत्यु संकट उपस्थित होने की स्थिति) पर भी नहीं करना चाहिये। जो कर्तव्य है, उसे अपने प्राण की परवाह न करते हुये भी अवश्य करना चाहिये.

The central government’s decision to migrate 16.68 lakh official email accounts to Zoho’s cloud platform, at a total cost of Rs 180.10 crore, represents one of the larger administrative technology transitions undertaken in recent years.

While this may appear to be a routine IT upgrade, the scale, structure and intent of the migration suggest that it is part of a broader shift in how the government is building its digital infrastructure.

The DRDO initiated the development of a next-generation Short-Range Ballistic Missile (SRBM) to replace the aging Prithvi series (whose liquid-fuel system requires complex, time-consuming pre-launch fuelling). The new missile will feature modern solid propulsion, advanced guidance, improved accuracy, and faster response capabilities while retaining payload flexibility for 500 kg and 1,000 kg warheads.

India delivered a dominant performance in compound Archery, clinching three gold medals in team events of World Archery Para Series in Bangkok, Thailand. In the women’s team compound final, Sheetal Devi and Payal Nag registered 150-147 victory over Kazakhstan. The men’s team followed suit, as Toman Kumar and Shyam Sunder Swami led India to a convincing 153-146 win against Chinese Taipei. Sheetal Devi and Toman Kumar teamed up in the mixed compound event to defeat Indonesia 153-146, securing India’s third gold of the day.

 At the Asian Boxing Championships 2026 India is confirmed of three medals as women pugilists Nikhat Zareen, Priya, and Preeti Pawar have advanced to the semifinals in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
