INDEPENDENT BANGLADESH: -

A DREAM OF BENGALI MUSLIMS,

BUT A COMPULSION FOR INDIA.

There is no big conspiracy theory but complex geopolitics here. Splitting PAKISTAN into two, East, and West-- was a GEOPOLITICAL,AND MILITARY requirement. May be some more splitting of Pakistan is essential.

  1. Eking out of Bangladesh caused a massive territorial loss to Pakistan — hurting both their power and ego. Within 3 days of defeat, the Pak President — Gen. Yahya Khan — was fired from both Presidency and the military. In fact, the military itself lost power to civilians due to the humiliating surrender. The two countries have not fought a full war in the 50 years since as no other Pakistani leader wanted to take such a personal risk of losing a war against INDIA. BUT, WE HAVN’T USED THE SLACK TIME WELL.
  2. Prevented India from having to fight Pakistan on two sides — Western and Eastern fronts. A single front war is much easier.
  3. PREVENTED PAKISTAN FROM HAVING ANY FOOTHOLD IN THE BAY OF BENGAL. THIS ALLOWS INDIA TO KEEP ITS NAVAL AND NUCLEAR ASSETS FAR FROM ANY OF THE MAJOR RIVALS.
  4. It prevented an AMERICAN NAVAL SET-UP at CHITTAGANG through friendly ally PAKISTAN. INDIAN OCEAN REMAIN FREE OF AMERICAN INFLUENCE.
  5. Prevented Pakistan from getting close to India’s chicken neck — a narrow sliver of land connecting the mainland to the northeast India, through erstwhile East Pakistan.
  6. In place of an aggressive rival, we got a reasonably neutral friend in Bangladesh. For all their complaining about cricket no-balls, they have not done any major harm to India.

Pakistan screwing its Bengali citizens for too long, creating a ROBUST internal uprising. People from EAST PAKISTAN was migrating to INDIA for fear of LIFE, and it was a requirement for India to make the move and close the deal.

There is no big secret on India wanting to dominate its region. Every major power wants to do the same. In the mind of Indian leaders and many Indians, India is not a weak entity but a strong athlete who is going through a period of rehabilitation after an injury inflicted by BRITISHERS, and properly not taken care of in the NEHRU REGIME.

Fortunately, at that critical juncture, we were having Mrs. Indira Gandhi as P.M.—who dared to take a very strong political decision, internationally, going against USA, & U.K. alliance, but achieved the goal with open support from Russia, and may be TACIT HELP from ISRAEL.

 

However, there always will be some radical elements in BANGLADESH to vandalize Pooja pandals. Even there will be anti—Hindu riots. So far as they are not state-sponsored, we shouldn’t antagonize Bangladesh government. But—we did have a role to play there—which we didn’t.

  OPERATION SINDOOR ECONOMIC LOSSES OF PAKISTAN SARASIJ MAJUMDER It will be difficult for Pakistan to come out of the loss it suffered in this 4-day KINETIC WAR, fought only in the airspace, involving Fighter Jets, Missiles, and DRONES as attacking weapons.
