FILING FOR NOMINATION AT AMETHI  CLOSED ON 3rd MAY, AND VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 20.

Last Time Winner SMRITI ZUBIN IRANI from BJP has already  filed her nomination.

Kishori Lal Sharma, a trusted friend of the Gandhi family, is now the Congress candidate for Amethi.

Rahul Gandhi is set to run from Raebareli, and not Amethi, where he faced a DEFEAT in 2019.

In 2014 BJP ticked all the right boxes, when they selected IRANI for AMETHI.

✅ Known Candidate with reasonable all India exposure.

✅ TV personality

✅ Excellent Hindi orator

✅ Female

✅ Focus on development and growth.

·         Amethi has its own Caste and Muslim Equations .

·         But Whoever Wins from Amethi, one thing is Clear : Smriti Irani is a Fighter. She Did not Give up on Amethi even after Losing in 2014.

·         India has seen Politicians Neglecting their Constituencies , Treating them as their Personal Fiefdom. Making Money from Development Funds , etc. But here is one Lady who has worked hard from bringing whatever development she could for Amethi even after being rejected by the majority of  electorate.

We often have seen people blaming the Janata of Amethi for electing the Gandhi family for decades but more than often they didn't have any logical alternative to choose from.

Smriti Irani came as a better alternative.

Irani had the grit and appetite to take the challenge, and stamina to pursue it relentlessly to succeed. Over a period of time, having worked in various posts in the party — secretary, Mahila Morcha chief and vice-president — and as a Rajya Sabha MP and campaigner, Irani had proved that she was a fighter and had a propelling capability to leave a mark.

Two persons who believed (who mattered most) in her capacity were Narendra Modi, the then prime ministerial candidate of BJP and Amit Shah the then general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh.

Even though she lost by a narrow margin on debut, she has still continued the development projects in Amethi.  And won in 2019 defeating the then P.M. face of  Congress  Mr. RAHUL GANDHI..

Let’s take a list of initiatives and achievements by Smriti Irani :-

Smriti Irani Inaugurates 'Digital Village' In Rahul Gandhi's Amethi.

Under the digital village project, there would be 206 programmes available for the people. This includes a Wi-Fi Chaupal, LED bulb manufacturing, a unit to make sanitary pads and PM digital literacy initiative.

Agriculture

  1. Approval to Soil testing laboratory and Krishi Vigyan Kendra for Amethi district
  2. The yield of farmers from Amethi affected by hail storms was sold even when it was in bad condition.
  3. 100,000 (one lac) fruit trees were distributed in Gauri Ganj, Jagdishpur, Tiloi and Amethi through Khushhali Foundation, Bareli Uttar Pradesh.
  4. Along with the Agriculture MOS Dr Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, families of entire Amethi district and affected farmers and Kisan Panchayat were given Rs. 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) as compensation.
  5. 580 metric ton Nimboli seeds were purchased under Nim project.

Railway

  1. Separate arrangements for reservation counter, ticket section, inquiry office for passenger facility on Gauri Ganj Railway Station
  2. Better passenger facilities given on Amethi railway station.
  3. Approval to railway under the bridge in Amethi and Mahaso
  4. Approval for a high-level platform on Gauri Ganj railway station
  5. Approval for the budget for Amethi- Unwahar railway line from Sultanpur
  6. The trial for the Rail Neer scheme started, Established in 2014 at the cost of INR 8 crore, this plant has the capacity to produce 72,000 bottles of Rail Neer per day, giving earning potential to around 100 people
  7. Approval for doubling the railway line from Bachharawan to Pratapgarh. Work started.
  8. Electrification of the railway line from Bachharawan to Pratapgarh.
  9. Funds allotted for doubling and electrifying Utaretiya Varanasi line via Rae Bareli and Amethi
  10. Bani, Jayas and Gauri Ganj stations in Amethi were given the status of ideal railway stations.

Education

  1. Approval to Central School in Gauri Ganj.
  2. Women’s Security insurance of 25,000 women done in Amethi district under Pradhan Mantri Mahila Suraksha Bima Yojna.
  3. Security insurance of 25,000 people done in Amethi district under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna.
  4. Approval for a military school in Amethi and work started with the fund of Rs. 121 crores.
  5. A satellite branch of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow was established
  6. Rajeev Gandhi Petroleum University, Jayas Tiloi, district Amethi was completed with the fund of Rs. 360 crores from NDA Government and was publicly launched.
  7. Approval was given to girls’ college in Sangrampur block of Amethi.
  8. Liking of working women, men, youth and students from Amethi Lok Sabha constituency with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOUR) and establishing National Open University Institute.

Roadways

  1. Directed to convert national highway no. 56 from Lucknow to Varanasi into a 6- lane
  2. Ambedkar Nagar via Fatehpur, Lalganj, Raebareli, Amethi and Sultanpur declared as the national highway for connecting Rae Bareli and Amethi through national highways. The fund also allotted and directions given to complete the work in one year.
  3. Passenger rest places were provided in all major pilgrimage centres, railway stations, bus stands in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency.

Water supply

  1. Approval to the dam by National Flood Calamity Management Board for stopping the cutting of Gomati River in Haliyapur and Pipri
  2. Approval to around 250 India Mark hand pumps in entire Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in collaboration with CSR and task started to install them

Social Service

  1. Assistance was given with prompt efforts by helping people with cancer, heart diseases and serious diseases.
  2. After receiving applications from local people from entire Amethi, admissions were given in Amethi district and in entire the country in central schools.
  3. Every possible assistance given by Samrat Cycle to the farmers displaced
  4. The residence was given to 2500 rural people under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (Rural).
  5. Distribution of cards to 1500 individual dignified beneficiaries under Swachh Bharat.
  6. Distribution of relief material to affected families in fire incidents every year. Up to now, around two thousand families were helped.
  7. Distribution of Divyang Jan assistance equipment to 1492 Divyang persons.

Healthcare

  1. Approval from the State Government for women’s medical hospital centre in Jamo block with 200 beds.
  2. Approval of a multipurpose building on Amethi railway station and the work for allocating funds is in progress.
  3. Distribution of approval letters for the grant of 4 lacs under Daivi Apoda (Unfortunate Calamity relief scheme).
  4. The public launch of TB unit in the district hospital, Amethi.
  5. Public inauguration of Primary Health Centre Odari, Tiloi.
  6. Public inauguration of the community Health centre, Bajar Shukla.
  7. Bhoomi Poojan for C. H. C. centre, Amethi.
  8. Public inauguration of primary health centres in Saintha and Jethu Mavai

Skill Development

  1. Prime Minister Kaushal Centre was started in Jamo Gauri Ganj.

Women Empowerment

  1. Distribution of 25 thousand Saris to women from entire Amethi Lok Sabha constituency

She also bought a house in Amethi, started residing there, and votes from AMETHI.

Smriti Irani has been visiting Amethi regularly even in the 2017 assembly elections, she played a big role in BJP winning four of the five assembly seats in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency. She has undertaken quite a few projects to provide employment and develop the overall infrastructure of Amethi.

NEW PROJECTS

  • Manufacturing unit for AK-203 rifles was inaugurated in Amethi, an India-Russia joint venture under Make in India Initiative.
  • Rail Neer Plant has been launched in Amethi which will produce 72,000 units of water bottles per day for Indian Railways.
  • Sainik School work started in Amethi with a fund of 121 Crore.
  • Amethi Pickles – a brand conceived, developed and nurtured by women of Amethi at Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) centre inaugurated in April 2017. Many women are working under this initiative and Smriti is very consistent to provide them every required facility.

A 200-bed Hospital for women and trauma Centre has been Constructed.

Smriti pays insurance amount for 25,000 women in Amethi.

No one can deny the fact that she has put her heart and soul into proving her worth on ground.

All these contributed in Assembly Election: 2022 for BJP  in several  assembly seats under Amethi.

If only BJP & India had More of Such Smriti Irani.
