TRAVEL:- 2025/03 RAJASTHAN//5 (5th time) SARASIJ MAJUMDER Dear Readers, I am going for a 'TRAVEL' in RAJASTHAN, from tomorrow to 16th March, 2025. It is a Family Trip. The itinerary made by me to cover the places  is pasted below.  A route map made by me is also furnished at the top. 4 persons, SUV start to finish the round trip, 11 days, 10 nights, 3000 km app. will cost about Rs.1.25 Lakh total. We will be staying in 'RTDC' HOTELS. Details are shared-- if any reader wishes to  travel the same route.  I will not be able to post any BLOG, or NEWS-LETTER during this period, A travelogue will be posted, after I return.  Have a good day. Note: 2025/1 was Kolkata.  2025/2 was in Indore for playing Bridge.  I am, however is a resident of Rajasthan at present.

The total length of this country is only 12 km and the maximum  width is 2000 meters. It has only one airport, one hospital, and one police station. The name of this country is Tuvalu. The total population of this country is 12,373, as of  2022. This country is a Polynesian island country located in the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Australia. The capital of this country is Funafuti. Tuvaluan and the Australian dollar are used as currencies here. Its neighbouring countries are Kiribati and Fiji.   KAVARATTI   ISLAND CAPITAL OF LAKSHADWEEP A Memoir—Summar1958 SARASIJ MAJUMDER   Well,   I was in Kavaratti Island (capital of Lakshadweep) for   Two TIMES, both in my childhood. With an area of 1050 acres it’s   heaven if you stay for 6 days and may be hell if you stay much longer. Just for the sake of comparison,   B.E. College (now IIEST) campus is 1,400 acres. My father was running a very small manufacturing unit, in Dum Dum, and was also auditor for a few Marwari organizations.   One of them was Mr. Paresh Khandelwal, having a small shop in Kavaratti island, capital of Lakshadweep. When I was in 4th standard, father has to go there for Audit. It was my summer holiday, and my mother decided that I should accompany my DAD.   That was first time I was going there.   REVIVAL OF ARVARI RIVER What a Leader, and People can do. SARASIJ MAJUMDER   REVIVAL OF ARVARI RIVER— Arvari river is a small river, may be the smallest, in the ALWAR,   Indian state of Rajasthan. The 90 km.   long river flows through the Alwar District of Rajasthan. It got dried, and   was revived in 1990. It remained dry for 60 years. The turnaround started in 1986, when people of Bhanota- Kolyala village with   the help of Tarun Bharat Sangha, managed by Rajendra Singh, constructed a   JOHAD, (earthen check dam) at the source of the dried river; following this,   villages that lay in its catchment area, and along the dried river bed, they also built tiny earthen dams, the largest being a 244 mt. long and 7 mt.   OPERATION SINDOOR ECONOMIC LOSSES OF PAKISTAN SARASIJ MAJUMDER It will be difficult for Pakistan to come out of the loss it suffered in this 4-day KINETIC WAR, fought only in the airspace, involving Fighter Jets, Missiles, and DRONES as attacking weapons. Pakistan claims that J-10C jets, equipped with PL-15 missiles, were used in combat, and that they downed multiple Indian Rafale and other fighter jets. GOI has not accepted any loss of Fighter Jet. No image of Rafael lost is available. GOI is not declaring the HITS it inflicted upon Pakistan. Even then, I have pieced together the information and provided a picture. A.   UNDERSTANDING WOMEN SARASIJ MAJUMDER   In a poem titled   ‘ বিদায় অভিশাপ ’—(FAREWELL CURSE)--, Tagore wrote: ........ রমণীর   মন   সহস্র বর্ষেরই   সখা সাধনার ধন । । [ ( To understand) Mind of a woman, my dear, ||You need a devotion of thousand years. ]—- Translation is mine. In simple language—‘One Life is not good enough to understand the mind of a Woman’—that is what, Devyani—the heroine of the poem said to Koch, her beloved. And I agree after completing 46 years of married life! However, based on my experience—I wanted to write an article on the subject, sharing my understanding for Romeos of future generations.
