  BUDGET 2025 AT A GLANCE SOME KEY PROVISIONS SARASIJ MAJUMDER   1.       10,000 additional seats to be inculcated in Medical Institutes in one year; 75,000 additional   medical seats will be created in next 5 years. 2.       100 GW target for Nuclear Power Generation by 2047. 3.       40,000 new houses will be added under Swayam Housing scheme. 4.       50 New Tourists’ destination will be developed by next year . 5.       A Maritime Development Fund with a corpus of ₹ 25,000 crore to be set up, with up to 49 per cent contribution by the Government, and the balance from ports and private sector. 6.       Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) : 50,000 such labs are to be set up in government schools in 5 years.   ‘ वानर ’—IN RAMAYANA SARASIJ MAJUMDER On my 10 th Birthday, my Father presented me the Holy Book—‘Ramayana’—in BENGALI , POET KRITTIBAS OJHA translated it from Valmiki Ramayana. And I read it in the week end,  —about 550 pages, mostly written in “POYAR” metric. Valmiki Ramayana,   as we get it today, is composed with 24,000 Verses in seven Cantos. I also read that, Later. My late mother—a Sanskrit scholar, had a copy. It is an ‘EPIC’, having “history’ and “mythology’ interwoven with threads of Allegory—and laced/ ornamentally decorated with imagination of ‘Poet’,   which is a poetic license. That too-may be by more than one Poet. Britishers, and Europeans discarded it as a Mythological Epic. Indians worshipped Rama, and his allies, and hated the oppositions.
