RETURN OF TASLEEMA IN BENGAL

Image
RETURN OF TASLEEMA IN BENGAL SARASIJ MAJUMDER Tasleema Nasreen is a free thinker, and writer who borne in erstwhile East Pakistan, but banished from Bangladesh for her bold, factual, and truthful narration of Muslim social and economic crimes on minority Hindu Bengalis, who fought shoulder to shoulder in “MUKTI YUDDHA’—but became victim in the new borne state, which once declared it a Secular country. But—soon Bangladesh became ISLAMIST PAKISTAN NUMBER—2. Hunted in her own HOMELAND, she escaped for life. After living in exile across Europe and the United States, she relocated to Kolkata in 2004, which she considered her cultural home, on a renewable temporary residence permit issued by the then     Indian government. Off course west Bengal is her natural choice, and she has a historic and cultural bond with the State. Her initial stay in the city lasted until November 2007, when she was forced to leave West Bengal following violent protests and riots against her...

MAMATA’S THREE CASES

Image
MAMATA’S THREE CASES SARASIJ MAJUMDER CASE:---A Mamata Banerjee's highly controversial "Gand(h)a Dharm" (dirty religion) statement was made during an Eid-ul-Fitr gathering on Kolkata's Red Road. She accused the BJP (which she referred to as a "Jumla Party") of deliberately fabricating a hateful version of Hinduism for political division. The Statement & Context of the Core Remark: Speaking at the Red Road event, Banerjee stated: "I don't believe in the 'Ganda Dharam' that this 'Jumla Party' has made. I don't believe in that dharma.” Legal Action: The remarks led to multiple FIRs against her. For instance, a Siliguri-based lawyer filed a formal complaint at the Cyber Police Station. Charges: Police booked her under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for sections relating to criminal intimidation, intentional insult to provoke breach of peace, and promoting enmity/communal disharmony. Following articles of BNSS may...

IMPLOSION IN TMC

Image
IMPLOSION IN TMC SARASIJ MAJUMDER Today is 10 th June. Just a month ago, BJP formed government in West Bengal. And as of now—we see TMC got split into four(4) fragments, as follows: TMC®-- This is the rebel group of MLAs, with Mr. Ritabrata Banerjee. The strength is probably 64, including last joined Mr. F. Haqim. 60 (more than 2/3 of total 80MLAs elected) of them signed a resolution accepting Ritabrata Babu as their leader, which was submitted to Speaker of State Government, accepted as Opposition Party, separate room was allotted in Bidhan Sabha, they occupied the opposition bench - and Ritabrata babu started performing as LoP. This group got constitutional validity. Ritabrata Babu shall immediately apply to EC, ( if not done) claiming their group is actual TMC, claim party symbol, take control of Treasury, and legally constructed offices of TMC in West Bengal. He should inform all rented houses of TMC that   group lead by him has no financial responsibility ...

TMC & RECENT DRAMA

Image
TMC &  RECENT DRAMA SARASIJ MAJUMDER   ACT-I: Scene—I|| HIGH COURT: Former West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee made a highly dramatic appearance at the Calcutta High Court on Thursday, May 14, 2026, dressed in a traditional black lawyer's gown and attire. She personally appeared before a bench led by Chief Justice Sujoy Paul to argue a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) concerning alleged widespread post-poll violence following the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections.   A TMC-backed PIL was filed alleging targeted attacks on party workers, offices, and minorities. She arrived at the high court around 10:20 AM accompanied by senior party leaders, including Chandrima Bhattacharya. The visit triggered heavy political friction on-site, with opposition lawyers and critics shouting anti-TMC slogans like "Chor Chor" (thief, thief) outside the courtroom premises. Thew Lawyers were also investigating whether she had ...

TMC—A FEW THOUGHTS

Image
TMC—A FEW THOUGHTS SARASIJ MAJUMDER Let us forget about ‘AITMC’—that was a pipe dream of Mamata Devi. TMC was, and still is a ‘REGIONAL POLITICAL PARTY’—Period. And it lost heavily in last provincial election in Bengal. But that doesn’t mean it became irrelevant. It is still Opposition party in Bengal assembly, and present CM is treating the officially   honest MLAs with respect, and involving them in Administration. But—problem is elsewhere. Party members including elected representatives are thinking that TMC SHIP is sinking, and they want to get out enmasse, and join in other parties, like   INC, CPI(M) etc.- as it seems. BJP has closed its doors. That is BAD! Those parties are no less corrupt, and worse! TMC, if it can turn around, will be better than them. Senior Leaders like Kakoli Devi, Kalyan Babu, Firhad Bhai shall get together, take control of the party, and make Mamata Devi irrelevant. You may get help from unexpected source! I came to know ...

‘AGNIKANYA’ : NIGHT BEFORE IMMERSION

Image
‘AGNIKANYA’ : NIGHT BEFORE IMMERSION SARASIJ MAJUMDER The last night vigil will end on 4 th morning! The fear of defeat was starkly visible on her face. Her body had slumped. Black patches encircled the socketed eyes. The look is forlorn! The journey that started at Lalgarh, and followed by   a mock ‘HUNGER STRIKE’ at SINGOOR, more than 15 years ago, eating Chocolates, Chicken Sandwiches secretly and finally betraying Chatradhar Mahato—will end this night. The farewell bell has tolled on 29 th April at dusk from Bhowanipur. She could not articulate any concrete complaints; merely mumbled a few vague apprehensions. Supreme Court has dismissed her PLEA on Sunday. Her staunch party supporters, also some Secularists, CPI(M), and ‘LE-LI-BERALS’ had expected that, perhaps on the last night, she would pull off some "out-of-the-box" maneuver—a ‘VOODOO’ aka P.C.Sirkar. But nothing of the sort occurred. The reason? No new script came to that evil mind. The ‘Magic Wand’ lo...
