CHAUDHRY RAHMAT ALI GENESIS OF 'PAKISTAN' SARASIJ MAJUMDER     Two Muslims can be credited for the generation of concept of ‘PAKISTAN’. One is generator of TWO NATION theory, and the other is Ch. Rahmat Ali. SYED AHMED KHAN: REF:-“Roots of Muslim separatism in Colonial India (17th century–1940s) ---M. S. Jain and others”--- have traced the origins of the two nation-theory to Syed Ahmed Khan and the Aligarh Movement, consisting of his followers such as Mohsin-ul-Mulk. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan (1817-1898) founded the Aligarh Movement to improve the social and intellectual status of Muslims in British India. The movement's main goal was to introduce Western education to Muslims. He, and his followers later started PROPAGATING, AND PROMOTING THE ‘TWO NATION THEORY’. He spoke this   to British Governor, at Lucknow—from which British identified the existing ‘Fissure’ and conceived the ‘Divide and Rule’ policy, and implemented. Unfortunately, originally—Mr. Khan

GENESIS OF TAXATION

GENESIS   OF   TAXATION HOW IT EVOLVED SARASIJ MAJUMDER   NOTE:-- I WILL COVER IN A SEPARATE BLOG   EVOLUTION OF   TAXATION IN INDIA .   While agriculture may have kickstarted the human civilization, we could say that taxes shaped it. If we look back to the very beginning, we find that taxes have a religious origin. Today, religion, ruler, and state are often viewed as separate entities, but in ancient times, they were either all one and the same, or the Head of Religion and Ruler—The Priest and The Monarch-- were in same league.. In many early civilizations, such as the Egyptians, Mesopotamians, Chinese, and Mesoamericans, the ruler was considered a descendent of   God. Therefore, paying tribute to the ruler wasn't just a legal obligation—it was also a religious duty. Ancient civilizations typically had two major forms of taxes: Labour And Tithe. It's important to recognize that these early societies didn't have money in the way we have it today,

KING SARGON OF AKKAD PROBABLY WORLD’S FIRST EMPEROR SARASIJ MAJUMDER DEFINITIONS The term “EMPIRE” means a collection of territories, usually quite large where more than one type or race  of people lived, and the “RULER” who has political, economic and military control e.g. TOTAL CONTROL of the region was called “EMPEROR”. The equivalent term of emperor   in India was “SAMRAT” or   “ RAJ --CHAKRAVORTY”. Often, the EMPEROR   used to have some sub-ordinate KINGS ( RAJA)   or VASSALS under him, who paid tax, supported the Emperor with his armed forces when needed—other wise King or Vassal ruled independently within his kingdom/ Territory. It is challenging to definitively identify a single individual as the "first emperor in the   history of entire world" due to the vast scope of human history and the different civilizations that have existed over time. The concept of an EMPEROR or ruler with supreme authority over a large territory or group of people has emerged

INDIAN NAVY & SAILING SHIPS SARASIJ MAJUMDER . In the year 2003, I went to Stavanger, Norway—which is a Port cum Industrial town , having Offshore Operating base of STAT OIL, owning, and operating many offshore Oil & Gas producing platforms at North Sea. I went to work for them on the Trouble Shooting job of a Submarine Pipeline, and stayed there for 15 days. During my stay- there was North Atlantic European Naval Exercise, and a Russian Sailing Ship, participated in the exercise, was moored at the port. One Sun day, I decided to see the ship, and went on board. I was welcomed, and a Cadet was there to take me around the ship, and show all details. He was speaking English. Later, I was invited to have Lunch with them. A that time, I got intrigued that few countries still maintain Sailing ships in Navy. Later I knew, UK also have Sailing ship in navy. They have used one such ship, to finally leave Hong Kong. I later decided to find out, whether Indian Navy has Sailin

KOREAN ADMIRAL  YI SUN-SIN ADMIRAL WHO NEVER LOST AN WAR SARASIJ MAJUMDER   Let’s assume you have 13 warships. They’re nice ships. They’re strong and they have good armaments. You have to beat a fleet of 130 warships plus 200 more transport ships. The warships are all loaded with cannons and the transports are loaded with soldiers and marines. Their ships aren’t quite as good as yours, but there’s a lot more of them. You have to defeat this fleet, or else it’s over, and you have to face it  directly . This was the dilemma Korean admiral Yi Sun-sin found himself in during the fall of 1597. He had commanded the Korean navy against a Japanese invasion of his country for years, ever since they first crossed the sea in 1592. Through hard fighting and ingenious strategy, Yi succeeded in stalemating the massive Japanese army and navy in 1596. However, a renewed attack hit the Korean peninsula in 1597. Unfortunately for Yi, he had enemies in the imperial court, and one of them

Nehru/Gandhi family visited   Babur's grave SARASIJ MAJUMDER Name of the Book: Babur-Nama – Autobiography by Zahiru’d-Din Muhammed Babur. This author was the founder of the Moghul dynasty in India who proclaimed himself a Padshah (Ruler) after his victory in the First Battle of Panipat (1526CE), and a Ghazi (killer of kafirs) after the defeat of Rana Sanga in the Battle of Khanwa (1528 CE). While presenting himself as an indefatigable warrior and drug addict, he does not hide the cruelties he committed on the defeated people, particularly his fondness for building towers of the heads of those he captured as prisoners of war or killed in battle. He is very liberal in citing appropriate verses from the Quran on the eve of the battle with Rana Sanga. In order to ensure his victory, he makes a covenant with Allah by breaking the vessels containing wine as also the cups for drinking it, swearing at the same time that “he would break the idols of the idol-worshippers in a similar m

HISTORY TAUGHT IN PAKISTAN SARASIJ MAJUMDER You ask any Indian school boy about the history of the Indian subcontinent; he will refer to the Harappan civilization which lasted for at least 2000 years till the Aryans entered the subcontinent in 1500 BC from the land what is now known as Iran. You put the same question to a Pakistani school boy and he will tell you, history in the Indian subcontinent began in 710 AD. No, I am not joking, Pakistan has simply erased 4,200 years of history in a stroke. 710 AD was the year the first Arab Muhammad bin Qasim entered the Sindh. Pakistanis are “taught” Muhammad bin Qasim was the first Pakistani. Again, I am not joking. The book “Pakistan Studies” introduced by Zia Ul Haq tells you so. Passing this course is compulsory for all students at all levels up to university courses including engineering and medicine. History of the subcontinent is scissored to remove all reference to non-Muslim kingdoms.
