The last night vigil will end on 4th morning! The fear of defeat was starkly visible on her face. Her body had slumped. Black patches encircled the socketed eyes. The look is forlorn!
The journey
that started at Lalgarh, and followed by a mock ‘HUNGER STRIKE’ at SINGOOR, more than
15 years ago, eating Chocolates, Chicken Sandwiches secretly and finally betraying
Chatradhar Mahato—will end this night. The farewell bell has tolled on 29th
April at dusk from Bhowanipur.
She could
not articulate any concrete complaints; merely mumbled a few vague
apprehensions. Supreme Court has dismissed her PLEA on Sunday.
Her staunch
party supporters, also some Secularists, CPI(M), and ‘LE-LI-BERALS’ had
expected that, perhaps on the last night, she would pull off some
"out-of-the-box" maneuver—a ‘VOODOO’ aka P.C.Sirkar. But nothing of
the sort occurred.
The reason?
No new script came to that evil mind. The ‘Magic Wand’ lost its power
completely!
Because her
most brilliant protégé—having mastered the political art of "surpassing
the mentor"—now stands against her,
and delivered a fatal blow!
The final
hour is imminent. It is merely a matter of few hours!
However, symptoms
were all there!
Like an inauspicious
soul she used to sleep very late in the night like a nocturnal element—and woke
up late in the morning. On 29th morning, a low-level Police
chastised her dear brother Kartik Banerjee publicly near the polling booth. She
cast her vote for the first time in the early morning—which she always cast in
the late hours on all previous occasions. On foot—she moved, and tried to nurse her constituency with tired
body on the last polling day… and on 30th returned to check the STRONGROOM. Stayed for a long time-- contemplating...
She never had to do any of these things before!!
After all, she
was the one who received the final intelligence report from her sole-licking State Intelligence department. Through her own
private sources, (READ I-PAC) she also
managed to get similar feedback. The gist of these reports was that, two phases combined, TMC may not even
get 120 seats, herself loosing!! This calculation is based on a precise
analysis of the "milk”,--as water is already excluded mostly from the
voters’ list by SIR. That is the absolute maximum! All told, the total tally is
unlikely to cross the 100-seat threshold.
An even
more ominous sign is that Naushad—along with his ISF—and Adhir Chowdhury was acting
independently, rather than as a representative of the National Congress; they have caused an effective fissure within the
minority vote bank, termed as ‘DUDHEL GAI’….
Furthermore,
reports suggest that approximately 5% of the minority vote across the entire
state has shifted toward the "Lotus" symbol—specifically, the votes
of educated minorities, driven solely by issues concerning employment and
economic development.
They are
not interested in TALAQ, or POLIGAMY, or 72 HURS!!!
Her 'Lakshmir Vandar' lost its charm, and attractive power!
‘JAGANNATH
TEMPLE’ in DEEGHA, or promise of ‘BABRI MOSJID’ in Murshidabad were ineffective!
It is
learned that ‘SARE-SAT LAKHI’ young commander may leave the country with family! All preparations
are complete!
The ‘Janaja’
of TMC is ready—on 4th May, after dusk, it will start its final
journey to ‘KABRISTAN’ on the shoulders of ‘KU(N)MAL’ etc. and ‘Surat
al-Baqarah, Surah Yasin’ will be chanted by ‘KUJATO’ (no Typo) with a suitable
Bengali Translation.
THE SAHIRAH
