  BUDGET 2025 AT A GLANCE SOME KEY PROVISIONS SARASIJ MAJUMDER   1.       10,000 additional seats to be inculcated in Medical Institutes in one year; 75,000 additional   medical seats will be created in next 5 years. 2.       100 GW target for Nuclear Power Generation by 2047. 3.       40,000 new houses will be added under Swayam Housing scheme. 4.       50 New Tourists’ destination will be developed by next year . 5.       A Maritime Development Fund with a corpus of ₹ 25,000 crore to be set up, with up to 49 per cent contribution by the Government, and the balance from ports and private sector. 6.       Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) : 50,000 such labs are to be set up in government schools in 5 years. FORECAST OF 1991 ELECTION

In 1991, Illustrated Weekly of India, a famous English weekly news magazine, did one unthinkable feat---

The magazine consulted nine famous astrologers for a cover story entitled 'What the stars foretell...’ to predict the outcome of the 1991 elections in its May 25-31 edition.

All nine astrologers predicted Rajiv Gandhi would play a prominent role in future Politics of INDIA, and WORLD. While six of them were damn sure that he would be the next Prime Minister.

Here are terrific predictions from some of them:--

  • 'Rajiv Gandhi’s horoscope is very good and I don't foresee the possibility of a Congress without him at the helm,' — Astrologer Jagjit Uppal
  • 'The planetary positions are all favourable for Rajiv Gandhi and the Congress.' — Astrologer K.N. Saraswathi.
  • ‘Gandhi would win the elections and become prime minister but would suffer a 'steady decline in his powers after one year’ — Astrologer PJS Giani.
  • ‘Rajiv Gandhi will be India's next prime minister. He will be far better and correct all his earlier shortcomings. Our country will become an industrial giant within five years.’ — Astrologer Prayag Bandyopadhyay.
  • ‘During the life of the 10th Lok Sabha, Rajiv Gandhi will have a tremendous effect on global politics.’ — Astrologer AK Raja.

Only one had a slightly differing opinion. He said: ‘None of the leaders of the major parties will become the next prime minister. Someone like Shankar Dayal Sharma, India Vice President, will be the PM after the 1991 elections.’

However, the fact is:-

Just few days after their prediction and four days before the issue came out on May 25 1991, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi lost his life in a suicidal Bomb Blast by a woman from LTTE.

I visited the Rajiv Gandhi bomb site, much later, where a memorial is erected. The image at LHT of this page is taken at Memorial, built in stone , depicting  the sad incident, and mood.

    whereas ganit part tends to give milestone, identifying the it is by phalit, which depends on knowledge, experience, HIS blessing
