A DICTATOR NOT SO BAD

 Colonel Muammar Gaddafi

SARASIJ MAJUMDER

Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi ( 7 June 1942 – 20 October 2011) was a Libyan revolutionary, politician and political theorist who ruled Libya from 1969 until his killing in 2011 by NATO-backed rebel forces.

After the king OF LIBYA had fled the country, the Revolutionary Command Council (RCC) headed by Gaddafi abolished the monarchy and the old constitution and established the Libyan Arab Republic, with the motto "freedom, socialism and unity". The name of Libya was changed several times during Gaddafi's tenure as leader.

Gaddafi undertook several invasions of neighbouring states in Africa, notably Chad in the 1970s and 1980s. There were accusations from both sides. All of his actions led to a deterioration of Libya's foreign relations with several countries, mostly Western, including USA, which culminated in the 1986 United State's bombing of Libya. It was totally unnecessary.

In 1977 Gaddafi transformed Libya into a new socialist state called a Jamahiriya ("state of the masses"). He officially adopted a symbolic role in governance but remained head of both the military and the Revolutionary Committees.

They stressed the regime's achievements in combating homelessness, ensuring access to food and safe drinking water, and to dramatic improvements in education; under Gaddafi, literacy rates rose significantly, and all education to university level was free.

His principal foreign policy goals were Arab unity, elimination of Israel, advancement of Islam, support for Palestinians, elimination of outside influence in the Middle East and Africa, and support for a range of "revolutionary" causes. After the 1969 coup d'état, U.S.-Libyan relations became increasingly strained.

Gaddafi when he was a lot younger. was Quite handsome.,

Gaddafi is often portrayed as a bad guy, and as Ronnie put it “the mad dog of the Middle East”

But that is in fact, that was not true, and an WESTERN PROPAGANDA.

Let’s take a look at some of the luxuries that Libyan citizens had during his rule:-

1: Free electricity.

2: Free housing.

3: Free healthcare. Not only free healthcare, but the best free healthcare in Africa and the Arab world.

4: A high GDP per capita for two decades before the West started sanctioning Libya.

5: A portion of the money made from oil sales went directly into the bank accounts of Libyan citizens.

6: If healthcare in Libya was not sufficient, the state would finance the entire trip to a foreign hospital.

7: He outlawed alcoholic beverages and gambling.

Those are just top seven things. Libya had the highest rating on the Human Development Index in Africa when Gaddafi ruled it.

By uniting OIL PRODUCING COUNTRIES, and forming OPEC, he dealt an economic blow to USA, and Western Countries. And they started painted him BLACK.

So while he might be portrayed as a bad guy by Western Media, he was actually a  good leader, and a  PATRIOT.

After Mr. Gaddafi killed. Libya’s economy was ruined. As of 2023, approximately one-third of the Libyan population is living below the poverty line, indicating a significant issue of child poverty within the country.

The killing of Muammar Gaddafi took place on 20 October 2011 after the Battle of Sirte. Muammar Gaddafi, the deposed leader of Libya, was found DEAD, west of Sirte after his convoys were attacked by NATO aircraft, as part of the 2011 NATO military intervention in Libya.

THAT OPERATION WAS HATCHED BY CIA & USA.
