SHARJEEL IMAM, THE EDUCATED TERRORRIST

Sharjeel Imam, born in1988, at Kako village of Jehanabad, Bihar. He had completed his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT-Bombay and joined Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2013 for completing his master's degree in Modern History and in 2015 he started Ph.D. from the same university. He started as an Indian student activist. Later he became “JIHADI”. Imagine, how much money of GOI has spent for his education.

Local Muslim women of Shaheen Bagh came out and sat on a dharna, against CAA. Within days what began as a spontaneous sit-in by a handful Muslim women soon turned into a symbol of dissent and resistance against the CAA. The Mullas participated, Muslim pollical parties supported it, Fund started coming from abroad, Khalistan group opened a Langar. ALJAZEERA was providing daily coverage. ARAB MEDIA was very vocal on this.  DELHI GOVERNMENT was observing, and did nothing, AAP was sympathising, and the BLOCKADE, and vandalism continued for over 3  months (14th December 2019 to 24th March 2020). 

After actively participating in Shaheen Bag  BLOCADE, inciting VIOLENCE, and delivering inciting, anti-communal and anti-Indian speeches, finally he was arrested by DELHI Police, on 28th January, 2020, under the UAPA act.

 Before arrest, he made a speech in Shaheen Bagh saying "….We can do similar protest in Assam and cut the chicken neck, and  separate entire North east from rest of the India, then we can have that part of Land as our rights….."

Delhi police immediately registered the FIR under various IPC sections including Waging A War Against the State.

The very same day Assam Government also registered FIR and next day UP police registered the complaint as well. In the space of 24 hours, he was booked in 50++ different IPC sections by 3 different state governments in 3 states. He has been in the prison of all 3 states in the last 4+ years. He gets court hearing once in 5-6 months – got a clean chit in one case only,  while staying in jail for other 50+ cases.

Once he is released, he is sure to be recruited by PAKISTAN INTELLEGENCE.

The only benefit of having a slow judicial system in India is it makes Terrorists like him rot in jail for decades. May the misery of him, and his supporters continue and hopefully anyone thinks 100 times before making such statements. States need such useful CASES to set an example.

However, in my opinion—his cases shall be having LOWEST PRIORITY.

Also—he shall be SCREENED  Psychologically, before release. He may be a future threat to the state. Hence,  he shall be handled accordingly.

    Thank you Sarasij for this very interesting and informative blog. After the solid trouncing in the hands of NDA, in 2019 May, the opposition ( read mainly Sonia Gandhi led Congress ) desperately wanted to strike back and make its presence felt in the National News. Protests against CAA and the Farmers’ strike were the two opportunities which they gleefully grabbed onto, with adequate support from known external quarters.
    The siege of Red Fort in January 2020, though for a short while, and the ensuing Delhi riot, a few months later, timed during President Trump’s visit was the culmination of CAA protest, which exposed them to the full, in the eyes of Aam Junta
