NEPO KIDS IN INDIAN POLITICS

Nepo Kid, is short for nepotism kid, is a term referring to people whose parents have succeeded in similar or related careers, and Son/Daughter/ Very close relative inherited the position.. The implication is that, because their parents already had connections to one or more specific industries, or professions,  the child was able to use those connections to build a career in those industries, or Professions. NEPO KIDS IN POLITICS ARE PRODUCED, WHEN NEPOTISM IS PRACTICED IN FAMILY OF POLITICAL LEADERS OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE, AND THEY  INHERIT CONTROL.   It is against principle of DEMOCRATIC POLITICAL SYSTEM. It’s not wrong for a doctor’s son to become a doctor or a politician’s son to become a politician, but becoming a party chief and CM, or PM  candidate without any  credible, serious effort, apprenticeship,  and Grass-Root experience,  is pure nepotism. It is. And it is our misfortune that Indian Electorate don't reject NEPO- KIDS.

Someday, I will discuss about NEPO KIDS of INDUSTRY, but—today, I discuss NEPO KIDS of INDIAN POLITICS.

Late Rajiv Gandhi is the first "NEPO KID"  in Indian Political history.  He was a commercial Pilot till he became MP in 1981. He became PM because he was the then only living son of Late Indira Gandhi, and became P.M. after her assassination. He lead INC,  contested the election, and people of India  nominated him, and his Government  by record majority in parliament-- with 413 seats.

However-- his party, INC lost next election, in 1989,  a coalition  Government of V.P.Singh was formed and later he was also assassinated.  We don't include him in the following discussion.

We are discussing here the "NEPO-KIDS" of Indian politics, who are alive and active.

1.0 RAHUL GANDHI:-

·         Officially, he is M Phil from Cambridge.  May Lord Ram Bless Him.

·        He became elected as  M.P. on the strength of parental inheritance. No electoral grooming before fighting apex Election of India. INC is a Dynastic Political Party.

·         He has failed to win many elections, and once known as ‘Quitter’.

·         He couldn’t give any direction to the Oldest Political Party of India—though he is 2^nd man in command. First person in Command is his WIDOWED mother.

·         He is about 54 years old, officially  unmarried, and sometimes accused by Media to collect votes by cheating the people/Voters on false promise of immediate  financial gains. Sort of  Cash for Vote SCAM, but not yet tried in court.

·         He is having most probably  12 numbers of legal cases running against him, one of them is quite serious,  and he is  presently out on BAIL.

·         In another country Ruled by Law—he might be rotting in Jail long before.

·         INC may dis-integrate once Italian Lady remits control.

2.0 TEJASWI YADAV:-

·         He got control of the RJD just like some people expect freebies in politics.

• He has no qualifications, probably 9th fail. Married.
• Being uneducated isn't the problem, the issue is he chose to remain uneducated despite having all the resources to get a decent education.
• He tried his luck in cricket but failed miserably, in spite of backing,  Parental + Political  support.
• He’s hardly 34 years old but looks like he's 50, so someone who can’t maintain his fitness level must be too lazy in real life.
• He is a typical example of a NEPO KID in all senses. But RJD is counting it’s last hours.

3.0 ABHISEK BANERJEE:-

•        Abhishek Banerjee is the nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
•         His actual education level is shrouded in mystery. Some Questionable B.A.+ MBA certificate?!?! The institution was in Delhi, and defunct since long. He passed Board of higher Secondary Education from West Bengal.
•         He is General Secretary, and 2^nd in command of TMC of West Bengal.
•         He is having several legal cases against him , some of them are very high amount money laundering accusations, and interrogated several times by ED.
•         He is married, and his wife was also interrogated by ED. I keep quiet on the case.
•         His electoral wins from Diamond Harbour is not all that clean, and he is accused of Minority Appeasements.
•         He is not expected to keep the party united, once Mrs. Banerjee give up control.

4. 0 AKHILESH YADAV

•          Holding a Master Degree in Engineering from Sydney, Australia.
•          He is 51 years of age, and was  C.M. of U.P. from 2012-2017|||  He was Youngest C.M. at the age of 38. He was 20^th C.M. of U.P.
•          He is National president of the Samajwadi Party .
•          Inherited the political Baton from his Late father, also Ex. C.M. of U. P., and Ex. President of same political party.
•          While he was C.M., constructed a Palatial Bungalow in Lucknow, at the cost of Tax Payer’s money—and informed he has  vandalised the property when he has to leave after he lost CM post.
•          If Yogiji wins this Assembly election  in U.P.,  SP may close down.

5.0 Supriya Shule

•          Holding B.Sc. degree from Maharashtra
•          Her present age is 55 years.
•          Daughter of erstwhile Congress leader, later NCP Supremo Mr. Sharad Powar.
•          Inherited the Political Baton from her father, and she is  M.P. from Baramati since 2014.
•          She is presently holding chair of NCP president. Likely successor of NCP(SP).
•          She is the only NEPO-KID, and M.P. without any pending case, as of my knowledge.
•          She has not inherited the shrewdness and cunning political  manoeuvres of her father is known for. Party’s future in her hand is uncertain.

6.0 There are two more NEPO KIDS—son of Mr. U. Thackeray, and son of Mr. Stalin—both are waiting in the wings. They are speaking loudly rubbish, betraying their class, and Education.

EXCEPTIONS:-

•  Jyotiradhitya Scindia, he’s also son of his late politician father, but he isn’t a party chief or in control of anything significant. Similarly, Sachin Pilot is also  a son of his politician father, but he isn’t in control of anything in politics just because of his father. And Both Of Them Are Politicians On Their Individual Strength And Merits.
