India engages U.S. in plans to ‘grey list’

people on fire in Boulder, Colorado, leaving multiple individuals injured, the
city’s police chief said, as people gathered for a ‘peaceful’ pro-Israeli
demonstration. A suspect is in custody and police are investigating what FBI
officials immediately called “a targeted terror attack”.

President Donald Trump on
Friday accused China of violating an agreement with the US to mutually roll
back tariffs and trade restrictions for critical minerals. “What China is doing
is they are holding back products that are essential for the industrial supply
chains of India, of Europe. And that is not what a reliable partner does,”
Bessent said in an interview on Sunday with CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

impose countermeasures in response to US President Donald Trump’s decision to
double tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. The move is set to take effect

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two
persons, including a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer in the
national capital, and his aide, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 25
lakh. IRS officer was identified as a
2007 batch senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) Officer, Amit Kumar Singal.
In a significant breakthrough, security forces in
Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district have successfully apprehended three Maoists, each
carrying a substantial bounty on their heads. The individuals, identified as
Dodi Podia, Dodi Pandu, and Dodi Nandu, are taken into custody.
In a stunning revelation that points to a deep-rooted
espionage network, the arrest of CRPF Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Motiram Jat
has blown the lid off what sources say is a Pakistan-sponsored intelligence
operation aimed at compromising Bharat’s national security. The National
Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted search operations at 15 locations in
eight states in a Pakistan-linked espionage case.

OBITUARY: -
India's 'Tiger Man' Valmik Thapar dies: Valmik Thapar, one
of India's most eminent wildlife conservationists and authors who devoted his
life to the protection of tigers, died at his residence Saturday morning.
He was 73 and had been diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
