The Union Home Ministry issued a formal

A.
Russia has dismissed recent Pakistani media reports
as fake, which claim that Moscow is expanding economic ties with Islamabad,
including plans to jointly set up steel mills in Karachi. The reports stemmed
from a May 13 meeting between Haroon Akhtar Khan, a special assistant to
Pakistan’s Prime Minister, and Russian envoy Denis Nazirov.

Russian forces have accelerated their
territorial advances in Ukraine in recent weeks, even in the midst of
U.S.-brokered peace negotiations. Russia substantially increased its drone production through a deal with
Iran to produce Iranian-designed drones within Russia, according to a new

The Securities and Exchange Board of India on Thursday
barred Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, his wife Maria Goretti, and 57 other
entities from the securities markets for periods ranging from 1-5 years in a
case related to misleading videos on YouTube channels recommending investors to
buy shares of Sadhana Broadcast. The regulator imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh each

A natural stone quarry in Indonesia's West Java province
collapsed on several people who were working in it on Friday, killing at least
10 people and leaving six workers missing.
In Punjab, at least five persons have died and 34 were
injured due to a blast in a cracker factory in the Lambi area of Shri Muktsar
Sahib district.
In Sikkim, search and rescue operations are on at Chungthang
in Mangan district to trace the missing nine persons.

Heavy rainfall is affecting the northeastern states as a
result of the southwest monsoon. In Arunachal Pradesh, the India Meteorological

Gulveer clinched the men’s 5000 meters title in a
Championship Record time of 13:24.78, surpassing the previous mark set in 2015.
