Hundreds of trekkers stranded by a blizzard near the eastern
face of Mount Everest in Tibet had been guided to safety by rescuers, Chinese

6 patients killed in Jaipur hospital fire, families of the
victims have alleged that the staff fled soon after the blaze, suspected to
have been caused by a short circuit, erupted on the second floor of the
state-run Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.
Heavy rains triggered landslides and flash floods blocking
roads, washing away bridges and killing at least 47 people since Friday in
Nepal, officials said on Sunday.
At least 23 people have died as heavy rainfall triggered
massive landslides in West Bengal's Darjeeling on Sunday, flattening homes,
