The Election Commission of India announced the Election
schedule for the Bihar Assembly. Assembly Elections in Bihar to be held in two
phases on 6th and 11th November; Counting of votes on 14th November. In the first phase, the voting will be held
on 121 Assembly seats while in the second phase, 122 constituencies will go to
polls.
The Election Commission also announces By-election for eight
assembly seats in seven states on 11th November.
The Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, launched by the Ministry
of Education in collaboration with AIM, AICTE, and NITI Aayog, is a nationwide
innovation initiative engaging over 1 crore students from Classes 6–12 to
promote creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking. The hybrid-format competition includes
project submissions, mentoring, and a live innovation event on 13 October 2025.
“Jalandhar saw unrest on Friday evening after a protest
linked to the ongoing “I love Mohammad” poster row turned into a clash between
Muslim demonstrators and BJP workers. The incident has now become part of a

resignation today after less than a month in office, saying that his attempts
at compromise were stymied by the country’s political camps.
Czech Republic: Former Prime Minister Andrej Babis’s party
came in first in parliamentary elections Saturday, paving the way for a
possible return to office for the former leader. Babis has argued that the
country is sending too much military aid to Ukraine, though he said upon
victory that he was “pro-European” and “pro-NATO.”
U.S. National Guard deployments. A federal judge yesterday
blocked the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops to Oregon
from any U.S. state. Illinois and Chicago sue Trump administration over

Trump said Sunday the U.S. military struck another boat near
Venezuela on Saturday that he alleged was carrying drugs.
Indonesia’s government on Saturday lifted a temporary
suspension of TikTok’s license that was imposed after the app refused to share
data from recent anti-government protests.
Green Banking Setback: A global alliance of major banks that
in 2021 pledged to jointly combat climate change voted to cease operations, it
said Friday. In the United States, multiple Republican attorneys general
launched investigations in 2022 into the banks for their coordination on
climate change, alleging collusion.
This year’s Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was
awarded to Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell and Dr. Shimon Sakaguchi for research
on how the human body calibrates immune responses. The researchers identified
regulatory cells that keep immune cells from attacking healthy ones.

Vyoma Mitra,
developed by ISRO, is India’s first semi-humanoid robot designed for the
Gaganyaan mission, aimed at supporting uncrewed test flights before India’s
first human spaceflight in 2027.
Meaning “friend in space” (from Sanskrit Vyoma = space,
Mitra = friend), Vyoma Mitra can talk, recognize voices, operate control
panels, monitor spacecraft systems, and respond intelligently in both English
and Hindi.

In a joint raid conducted by Special Task Force teams,
Kolkata and Bihar Police busted an illegal improvised active firearms
manufacturing unit operating under the guise of a furniture shop in Bihar and
