GOVERNOR   Vs   STATE Federal Democracy + Autocratic CM Indian Governors Need Some Teeth SARASIJ MAJUMDER     The Governor is a high constitutional authority and performs very essential constitutional functions. The role of the Governor as an AUDITOR in some of the critical   executive and legislative functions of a state cannot be undermined by CM of the state government. As per Article 154 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of a State holds the position of the constitutional head. Governos has   (i) Executive power, (ii) Legislative power, (iii) Judicial Power, (iv)Discretionary Power, (v) Emergency Power, & (vi) Ceremonial roles to play. J & K ELECTION

ELECTION IN J&K A POLITICAL ANALYSIS SARASIJ MAJUMDER NC + INC +PDP National Conference has promised to restore Article 370 if they come to power though constitutionally that is not possible. Legislation ratified that, and review in SC agreed with that. It is now fool-proof. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the Congress never demanded a reversal of the 5 August 2019 decision to revoke the special status of J&K. He also praised the administration of L-G Manoj Sinha, saying he “has done a very good job”. This can be a big boost to BJP’s campaign and trouble for Congress. Or congress is overconfident of not getting harmed by NC’s stance on article 370 abrogation because of BJP’s defeat in Ayodhya despite Ram Mandir ? Article 370 abrogation has been as important and emotional issue as Ram Mandir for Indians. In their brief press briefing earlier this week, on their first visit to

HINDENBURG RESEARCH--II ANOTHER FALSE FINANCIAL REPORT WEAPONISED FOR: 1.0-BLACK ECONOMIC GAIN   2.0- POLITICAL UNSTABILITY SARASIJ MAJUMDER   Hindenburg Research did it again—but missed the ‘BULL’S EYE’ BY YARDS. I was waiting for the ‘Dust’ to settle down before I take up pen on this. Founder and researcher Nathan Anderson of Hindenberg Research refers to himself as An Activist Short Seller.   You see—there is a ‘Conflict of interest’!! Well known for its financial agenda against INDIA, and also shorting overvalued stocks, initially gained some support from a group of ‘BIASED” people of India under the false pretence  of exposing the Adani Group in early 2023. Many viewed this as financial activism that promotes market transparency. But after some time, it’s real intent was exposed. The Financial Market ignored the ‘REPORT’ and responded accurately, transparently, and honestly. The research firm has now shifted its focus to discrediting SEBI by alleging links

THE CRISIS IN SPACE

Image
.THE CRISIS IN SPACE. .Wilmore   And   Williams. .Starliner Astronauts. SARASIJ MAJUMDER From Yuri to Neil to our Rakesh---- we have covered many “MILESTONES” in Manned Space Voyages—but still it is not without the associated risks,   dramas and excitements. Currently there are two fully operational space stations – the International Space Station (ISS) of USA, and China's Tiangong Space Station (TSS), which have been occupied since October 2000 with Expedition 1 and since June 2022 with Shenzhou 14. The Russian space station Mir re-entered Earth's atmosphere and was destroyed on March 23, 2001, after 15 years in orbit. The station was deorbited in a controlled manoeuvre and fell into the South Pacific Ocean near Nadi, Fiji.  ISRO aims to construct a 20-ton space station by 2030, intending to support microgravity experiments. It will be a manned Space Station. But now whole world is eagerly waiting for safe return of Sunita, and Wilmore. But, that is still 6 mon

GENESIS OF 'PAKISTAN'

Image
CHAUDHRY RAHMAT ALI GENESIS OF 'PAKISTAN' SARASIJ MAJUMDER     Two Muslims can be credited for the generation of concept of ‘PAKISTAN’. One is generator of TWO NATION theory, and the other is Ch. Rahmat Ali. SYED AHMED KHAN: REF:-“Roots of Muslim separatism in Colonial India (17th century–1940s) ---M. S. Jain and others”--- have traced the origins of the two nation-theory to Syed Ahmed Khan and the Aligarh Movement, consisting of his followers such as Mohsin-ul-Mulk. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan (1817-1898) founded the Aligarh Movement to improve the social and intellectual status of Muslims in British India. The movement's main goal was to introduce Western education to Muslims. He, and his followers later started PROPAGATING, AND PROMOTING THE ‘TWO NATION THEORY’. He spoke this   to British Governor, at Lucknow—from which British identified the existing ‘Fissure’ and conceived the ‘Divide and Rule’ policy, and implemented. Unfortunately, originally—Mr. Khan

GENESIS OF TAXATION

Image
GENESIS   OF   TAXATION HOW IT EVOLVED SARASIJ MAJUMDER   NOTE:-- I WILL COVER IN A SEPARATE BLOG   EVOLUTION OF   TAXATION IN INDIA .   While agriculture may have kickstarted the human civilization, we could say that taxes shaped it. If we look back to the very beginning, we find that taxes have a religious origin. Today, religion, ruler, and state are often viewed as separate entities, but in ancient times, they were either all one and the same, or the Head of Religion and Ruler—The Priest and The Monarch-- were in same league.. In many early civilizations, such as the Egyptians, Mesopotamians, Chinese, and Mesoamericans, the ruler was considered a descendent of   God. Therefore, paying tribute to the ruler wasn't just a legal obligation—it was also a religious duty. Ancient civilizations typically had two major forms of taxes: Labour And Tithe. It's important to recognize that these early societies didn't have money in the way we have it today,

CHACHA KAHINI

Image
CHACHA KAHINI A STRONG ARMED FORCES WASTED. A medallion too far. SARASIJ MAJUMDER The funniest thing is--- Chacha was not to do much! Only Prioritize. Our bad luck that we didn’t get BOSE as P.M., who understood the importance of a strong ARMED FORCE, required for a budding nation, surrounded by small countries, and to face CHINA, and Pakistan. GEO-POLITICALLY, and from MILITERY INTELLIGENCE point of view— Nehru was just pretty ordinary, and NAIVE( and that is what Stalin also thought of him) but politically he was an air bag with very high ambition. When the British left the country, India inherited the most powerful army in the continent. A battle hardened force that had tested its blade successfully against the best in the world,. Strength of the Indian Army in August 1947 was 4,00,000 men along with 6 GORKHA REGIMENTS. But the political leadership was keen to reduce the strength to save defence expenditure and hence it was decided to bring   down the strength of the Army t
