The Central Government, Nagaland Government and
Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization has signed an agreement for the
formation of the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA). The agreement
was signed in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.

India’s Rouble Nagi, an art and social science
teacher from Mumbai, has won the $1-million Global Teacher Prize 2026 at the
World Governments Summit in Dubai. The award was presented by Sheikh Hamdan bin

The EXISTING nuclear arms control deal between
the United States and Russia is set to expire today—though eleventh-hour talks
are reportedly working to prolong it. Unnamed sources told Axios the two
countries were weighing an extension of the New START treaty, which limits the
size of both countries’ nuclear arsenals and provides for inspections and
information exchanges. Russia had halted inspections in 2023 in response to
U.S. military support for Ukraine, and Trump did not formally respond to a
proposal from Moscow last September to extend the treaty for a year.
A U.S. strategic turn inward is alienating the
Indo-Pacific—straining ties with India, Japan, and others, and leaving Asian
allies questioning Washington’s reliability,
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer
announced that the European Union, Japan, and Mexico had agreed to work with
the United States to bolster critical mineral supply chains.
Trump wrote on social media that he and Xi
discussed Iran, Taiwan, and Chinese purchases of U.S. fuel and soybeans on a

A top diplomatic advisor to French President

council.
Germany aims to relax export controls on
military equipment to “reliable cooperation partners” like Qatar and Saudi
Arabia, Chancellor Friedrich Merz told reporters in Doha today.
Russia, Ukraine and the United States have
concluded a second round of peace talks in Abu Dhabi, agreeing on a major
