After that election date may be announced for the FIVE due states including Bengal. 2.0    A minimum gap of 25 days is typically maintained between the formal announcement of election dates and the first day of polling. 3.0    Average Duration of Assembly elections are held approximately 4 to 6 weeks (30 to 45 days) after the schedule is announced. 4.0    This may take us to end of April.
