Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda launched the indigenously manufactured
Tetanus and Adult Diphtheria (Td) vaccine at CRI Kasauli. India will supply 55
lakh doses to the Universal Immunization Programme by April 2026, marking a
milestone in self-reliance and 99% vaccine coverage.
Zimbabwe
has begun rolling out lenacapavir, a long-acting injectable HIV prevention
medicine. HIV has led to tens of thousands of deaths over the past two decades
in the country. It is one of the first countries to offer a twice-yearly shot
providing six months’ protection. The first phase targets about 46 thousand 5
hundred people at high risk. Another phase will follow the second injection
after six months. Preventive Drugs will
encourage ‘PROMISCUITY’.

CRIME & PUNISHMENT:
The
Mexican military killed Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, known as "El
Mencho," the powerful leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG),
during an operation in Tapalpa, Jalisco. Wounded during the raid, he died while
being transported to Mexico City.
El
Mencho's death marked the government's most significant victory in its
anti-cartel campaign and a major development to present to the Trump
administration.

Police has arrested six persons, including a serving army personnel, a
dismissed cop and two women with narcotics, arms and ammunition, drug money and

In
Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists have been killed in a joint security
operation in Kishtwar district. operation, code-named “Trashi-I”, was launched
on the basis of specific intelligence inputs about the presence of three
Pakistani terrorists in the area.
MISHAPS: -
In
Delhi, 14 people were injured in a fire that broke out at a residence in Majlis
Park area of Adarsh Nagar at 9 this morning. According to the Delhi Fire
Department, the fire was caused by an LPG cylinder explosion. Five fire tenders
reached the spot and doused the fire.

Grillmair, a distinguished American astrophysicist known for detecting water on
a distant exoplanet, has died at the age of 67 after being Fatally Shot at his rural home in California. The
incident has shocked the global scientific community. He was widely respected

In
Punjab, two on-duty policemen were found dead with bullet injuries near the
