*Meaning* : Whatever is not right to be done,
must never be done even on threat of death; and what is right to do, must be
done even if one sacrifice his life for the same.
*भावार्थ* : जो कार्य निषिद्ध है, उसे प्राण कण्ठगत (मृत्यु संकट
उपस्थित होने की स्थिति) पर भी नहीं करना चाहिये। जो कर्तव्य है, उसे अपने प्राण की परवाह न करते
हुये भी अवश्य करना चाहिये||

Chhattisgarh government has approved the draft
of Freedom of Religion Bill, 2026. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting

inducement, fraudulent means, undue influence or misrepresentation while
converting from one religion to another in the state.
The Union Cabinet has approved a revised cost of
₹3,630.77 crore for a 31.42 km greenfield connectivity project linking the
Delhi–Mumbai Expressway with Jewar International Airport. The corridor will
improve connectivity across Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Joint Secretary for Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas Sujata Sharma said that
India’s crude supply is secure and about 70 percent of the country’s crude

Phasing out nuclear power in Europe was a
“strategic mistake,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said
yesterday at a Paris summit on nuclear power. One-third of Europe’s electricity
in 1990 derived from nuclear, while today that figure is around 15 percent, she
said. The European Commission will provide $232 million in investment
guarantees for new nuclear technologies, she said.

The
Army Hospital has achieved a global milestone in minimally invasive Glaucoma
Surgery with aqueous angiography in New Delhi. The Ministry of Defence informed
that the pioneering procedure was carried out
using advanced surgical instrumentation and real-time imaging with the
Heidelberg Retina Angiograph to visualise aqueous outflow pathways during the
operation.
Tata
Advanced Systems partners with Ramco Systems to provide the digital backbone
for the IAF C-130J MRO facility in India. The platform will support aircraft
maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, strengthening India’s defence

CRIME & PUNISHMENT:
The
Ministry of Home Affairs has informed that 108 Naxalites surrendered in six
districts of Chhattisgarh. The districts include Bijapur, Dantewada, Sukma,
Bastar, Narayanpur, and Kanker. The Ministry further stated that a reward money
of 3 crore 95 lakh rupees was declared on these Naxalites.
The
Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at 19 premises across
Chandigarh, Gurgaon and Mohali in connection with a major fraud at the
Chandigarh branch of IDFC First Bank. The agency said that searches are being
conducted to trace the money trail involving the alleged embezzlement of around
Rs 590 crore from Haryana government bank accounts maintained in the bank. EMPLOYEES OF BANK AND HARYANA STATE GOVERNMENT , ARE BOTH
