Regional airline Fly91 commenced operations from Vijayawada
International Airport with the launch of services on the
Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Hyderabad sector. An inaugural ceremony was held at the

Ocean Region (IOR).
*Theatre
Command Structure Revealed*: India's ongoing military reform proposes three new
Theatre Commands:
- *Western Theatre Command* (led by an
Indian Air Force officer)
- *Northern Theatre Command* (led by an
Indian Army officer)
- *Maritime Theatre Command* (led by an
Indian Navy officer)
The
plan also includes the creation of a "Vice Chief of Defence Staff" to
support coordination among the CDS, service chiefs, and theatre commanders.
*Delhi
S-400 Missile Shield*: Following the approval for five additional S-400
squadrons, one squadron will be specifically dedicated to protecting the
National Capital Region (NCR/New Delhi) while remaining mobile. Overall,
India's S-400 deployment will feature 4 squadrons positioned against Pakistan
and 5 deployed in high-altitude sectors against China (including Ladakh,
Sikkim, the Siliguri Corridor, and Arunachal Pradesh).
IRAN WAR:
Iran’s delegation, led by
parliamentary speaker Ghalibaf, has arrived in Pakistan for ceasefire talks
with the United States.
Trump accused Iran of violating the
ceasefire agreement yesterday by not allowing sufficient oil to pass through
the Strait of Hormuz and said Iran “better not be” charging tolls for passage
of ships.
US Vice President JD Vance, who is
leading the US delegation, left USA yesterday for Islamabad.
Vance
said the US will not be “receptive”
if Iranians “try to play us”.
Iran’s Tasnim reported that
negotiations would begin in Islamabad on Saturday afternoon, if Tehran’s
preconditions were accepted by the US.
Israel will pursue peace talks with
Lebanon while continuing its attacks in the country, Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu said yesterday. Israel reduced its
action in Lebanon. But HEZBOLLAH hunting is on.
Hezbollah confirmed it bombed Israeli military positions in two towns in southern Lebanon. It said they targeted troops in Biyyada, which is just eight kilometres from Tyre. The group also said it targeted Israeli positions in Shamaa.
Washington plans to host
Israel-Lebanon talks next week, an unnamed U.S. official told multiple news
organizations. Netanyahu said the talks would cover Hezbollah’s disarmament,
while Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told reporters yesterday that he ordered
the Lebanese Armed Forces to regain control of Beirut and ensure only
government forces had access to weapons. Yet hurdles to the talks remain. An
unnamed Lebanese official told AFP Lebanon would only participate if a
ceasefire with Israel is implemented first, while a Hezbollah member in
Lebanon’s parliament said the group rejected direct talks with Israel in
absent of a truce and Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.

Delhi
Police Special Cell has busted Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and Babbar

CONCERN:
The
U.S. fertility rate continued its two-decade decline in 2025, falling around 1
percent from 2024, according to new federal data released yesterday. While
economists have voiced concerns that fewer births and less immigration could
have negative consequences for the economy, the U.S. population remains larger
on the whole than the period when the country’s birth rate peaked.
