  BUDGET 2025 AT A GLANCE SOME KEY PROVISIONS SARASIJ MAJUMDER   1.       10,000 additional seats to be inculcated in Medical Institutes in one year; 75,000 additional   medical seats will be created in next 5 years. 2.       100 GW target for Nuclear Power Generation by 2047. 3.       40,000 new houses will be added under Swayam Housing scheme. 4.       50 New Tourists’ destination will be developed by next year . 5.       A Maritime Development Fund with a corpus of ₹ 25,000 crore to be set up, with up to 49 per cent contribution by the Government, and the balance from ports and private sector. 6.       Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) : 50,000 such labs are to be set up in government schools in 5 years. 5 ASSEMBLY ELECTION- ANALYSIS

IMPACT ON 2024 G.E.

SARASIJ MAJUMDER

1.0  This result shows that I..N.D.I.A which was created only to defeat Modi (not for development of India) will not be able to create any impact in 2024 General Election. However, they may understand the need for UNITY. Still, in HINDI BELT—they seem  to have no takers.

2.0 The Congress is in no position to strike a hard bargain for seat sharing in  Lok Sabha election. All the regional parties in the alliance are silently happy. Alliance partners of the Congress are smiling behind. Some comments by them:-

  • Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi asked the Congress to show more generosity on seat-sharing deals.
  • JDU's KC Tyagi said this is not a defeat of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc but of the Congress, as it ignored other partners.
  • Kerala CM and CPI-M leader Pinarayi Vijayan said the Congress thought it had already won and couldn't be defeated and this led to its downfall.

 3.0 TELENGANA/KCR:--He changed the name of the party from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Wanted to win Bharat. Instead, lost Telangana. BJP  has to start working on this state for 2024.

4.0 Looking at the current election result, I am bound to say that Bharat Jodo Yatra was a failed attempt and a FLOP SHOW, by the Congress, and DOTTED ALLIANCE.

5.0 Rahul Gandhi is irrelevant in Indian Politics. Rahul Gandhi literally stayed in Madhya Pradesh for 16 days, and also stayed in Rajasthan for 18 days. I am not counting the election rallies. The above data displays number of days Rahul Gandhi stayed in those states.

6.0 This is more of  a victory of Narendra Modi, who is a realist, and yet a  visionary.   He is the principal driving force of the party. The BJP/NDA  fought these elections without giving too much space to  local leaders and still won handsomely regaining three major states. Political Pundit says, Modi-magic was supposed to work in National elections, not State elections---and this statement is not correct at least for HINDI BELT. This also  proves—he will be very powerful in 2024 Parliament Election Campaign, and very relevant in Election as well.

However—BJP shall concentrate on developing strong regional leaders. Finding a competent C.M. is already a problem for the three states, who will be accepted by other aspirants of the STATES. 12 sitting ministers lost election  in MP, and one didn't fought the election. Doesn't speak well about the BJP leadership of MP.

On 2024 G.E.—some  more nut- bolt level working at BIHAR needs to be done. Otherwise, HINDI BELT including U.P. seems to be solidly backing BJP. Maharashtra is also sorted out. Delhi & Haryana will vote for BJP/NDA. West Bengal will contribute about 20 MPs.

Things have started falling in place for BJP/NDA, and Mr. MODI for 2024 in the right time.

    The recent results have some danger for BJP. Complacency to be particular. BJP is still zero in Bengal as they couldn't make a dent in Muslim mindset and couldn't have booth level organization. Same is the story in Bihar. They have to have brain storming for winning the huge Muslim communities heart and seek support. Thanks
