NEW FACES IN BJP  STATE  LEVEL HEADS

OLD ORDER CHANGETH, YIELDING PLACE TO NEW

SARASIJ MAJUMDER

BJP again proved that it is not a DYNASTIC or  Chacha/Chachi---Vatija party. It is CADRE based political party—and top leaders are fair, far-sighted, logical and powerful—and capable of taking no-nonsense decisions.

The most important thing is—no leakage of information. All political PUNDITS—who were busy in out-guessing, and forecasting—had to bite dust.

THE SELECTED CMs are:-

Vishnu Deo Sai (Chhattisgarh) - ST

Mohan Yadav (MP) - OBC

Bhajan Lal Sharma (Rajasthan) - Brahmin

Major CAST bases have been covered here. This is BJP’s answer to I.N.D.I.A. …especially Nitish Kumar’s…caste census card.

ELIMINATION OF CONFLICT

All three CM’s are not POLITICALLY very known faces. They are not very massively popular outside their own constituencies at best. They do not command a huge following neither among the masses nor within the party’s state unit. Hence it is easy for the central leadership to keep them under control thereby making decision making easy. That is Modi-Shah’s working style. They just do not want a situation (at least for the next term or two) where leaders at the state level outgrow their stature and eventually become too difficult to negotiate like Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje, Raman Singh.

Anti-incumbency:

This will make the bad propaganda of anti-incumbency more manageable for the 2024 general elections in these states and in the next assembly elections for these states in 2028–29. This is how BJP always works with a long term and futuristic strategy.

System Reboot:

With fresh faces at the CM level, the grassroot level worker of the party will feel rejuvenated and recharged. This change of leadership at the state level rekindles aspirations for the workers of the party thereby resulting in a more invigorated campaign from them for the ensuing general elections. Raman Singh has been the CM since the inception of the state until 2018, Shivraj has been the CM since forever, similarly Raje has ruled the state for a long-time causing stagnation at the top. This reboot was really the need of the hour.

It takes a lot of guts and gumption to change a long ruling leadership in 3 states at one go.
