US President Donald Trump will  push for progress in the stalled ceasefire in Gaza when he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Mar-a-Lago.

US President Donald Trump warned Iran of fresh strikes and said Hamas would have "hell to pay" if it fails to disarm in Gaza, as he presented a united front with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday (Dec 29).

Speaking at a news conference with Netanyahu in Florida, Trump threatened to "eradicate" any attempt by Tehran to rebuild its nuclear programme or ballistic missile arsenal following US and Israeli strikes earlier this year.

Trump said that he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy were "getting a lot closer, maybe very close" to an agreement to end the war in Ukraine, while acknowledging that the fate of the Donbas region remains a key unresolved issue. DONBAS is the key to this DEADLOCK.

Russia says Ukraine tried to attack Putin’s residence so Moscow’s negotiating stance under review. Ukrainian ⁠President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the accusation was a lie, adding ​that Moscow was preparing the ⁠ground to strike government buildings in Kyiv.

 A man-made forest created by Padma Shri awardee Jadav Payeng, known as 'Forest Man of India', was substantially damaged after miscreants set it on fire.   The fire destroyed thousands of plants and killed insects and other small animals, while no human casualty was reported. An investigation has been ordered.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very dense fog conditions in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab for the next two days.
