Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on
Friday to discuss proposals for restarting peace talks with the U.S., offering

What Emerge:
Iran’s leaders, based on their statements on
social media, seem to have concluded that they can withstand the blockade
longer than Trump can bear soaring gas prices and an unpopular war, especially
with US midterm elections later this year. That is why they are not in a hurry
to negotiate peace.
Trump’s
strategy: “China can survive for a time without Iranian oil,” he said, noting
that Beijing gets 15 percent of its oil from Iran. “But Iran cannot survive
that long without getting the money from the Chinese.”
This
is where US President Donald Trump is trying to apply pressure on Iran’s
leadership through the blockade, Pfeifle explained.
The
aim is to “choke off the Iranian revenue stream as much as possible in the
hopes that it “brings them to the negotiation table”.
HORMUZ:
After mining
the Strait of Hormuz to block global shipping, Iran said, now they can’t fully reopen it—because they
don’t know where many of those mines are. Some mines drifted, and weren’t
tracked at all.

USA purchased this? Precondition of the talk is to remove all mines, and Iran
to give undertaking that it will never mine ‘HORMUZ’ in future.
