BENGAL FILES:
248 Officers, who were working under extension during Mamata’s regime are
retrenched from yesterday by present West Bengal Government. It may be stated
that as of early 2026, over 16,800 active vacancies (scanned number result using AI) have been reported across
various West Bengal government departments, ranging from technical positions to
state police and administrative roles.
Key vacancy areas highlighted for 2026 include:
WBPSC Recruitment 2026: Multiple openings for positions like
Sub Inspector (480 vacancies) and Assistant Director.
Panchayat Recruitment: Various regular roles in Gram
Panchayat, including Secretary, Nirman Sahayak, and Block Informatics Officer
(IT position, very important).
State Services: Positions in the West Bengal Police, Forest
Department, and technical education sectors.
We hope that present Government will soon take action to
fill-up the needed vacancies applying reasons, and Judgement. Some posts may
have been created earlier to employ the TRUSTED PARTY WORKERS, are unnecessary,
and shall be deleted. It may be noted that ‘DIGITIZATION’ and tech-savvy
employment will reduce number of employees, and will increase efficiency.

A nationwide employment and livelihood reform has been
announced under the “Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission
(Gramin) Act, 2025”, set to come into force from 1 July 2026. The initiative

The Assam Government will introduce the Uniform Civil Code

Iran still has around 70 percent of its prewar missile

AI: The two countries are considering resuming bilateral

India approved the Ahmedabad (Sarkhej)–Dholera Semi
High-Speed Double Line project on 13 May 2026. The project is estimated at
about ₹20,667 crore and will add around 134 km of railway line in Gujarat. It is planned as
India’s first semi high-speed rail project developed with indigenous
technology.
TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) has achieved a major
breakthrough in India’s aerospace sector by completing the first Airbus C-295
