“यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः"
The Sanskrit phrase "यतो धर्मस्ततो जयः" (Yato Dharmastato Jayaḥ)
from the Mahabharata translates to "Where there is Dharma
(righteousness/justice), there is Victory". It is a well-known verse with
13 occurrences in the epic, associated with the principle that moral conduct
triumphs.

In Jammu and Kashmir, residents living along the

The Ministry of Health has released the NFHS-6 report,
highlighting major improvements in maternal healthcare, child immunization,
nutrition, financial protection, and women's empowerment. Institutional
deliveries reached 90.6%, full immunization rose to 87.1%, and child stunting reasonably

The United Nations
honoured two Indian peacekeepers posthumously on the International Day
of UN Peacekeepers for sacrificing their lives while serving in UN missions.
Lance Havildar Harbhajan Singh, who served with the UN mission in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), and Naib Subedar Sujit Kumar
Pradhan, who was deployed with the UN mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), will be
awarded the prestigious Dag Hammarskjold Medal by UN Secretary-General Antonio
Guterres.

WAR:
An adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, Mohsen Rezaei, says the
United States is “betraying diplomacy” by continuing its naval blockade.
US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth said talks with Iran
are progressing well, but that US President Donald Trump is in no rush to make
a deal
Trump said earlier he will make a “final determination” on a
deal with Iran to end the war, though Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil
Baghaei said that while “the exchange of messages is continuing … an
understanding has not been finalised”.
Oman’s maritime security centre has urged caution after
detecting a floating object suspected to be A Naval Mine west of the Inshore
Traffic Zone in the Strait of Hormuz, within Omani territorial sea, the centre
said in a statement on X.
13 Indian-flagged vessels are currently in the Strait of
Hormuz region. These include one LPG tanker, five crude oil tankers, one
chemical or product tanker, three container ships, two bulk carriers and one
dredger.
Despite the danger, India has continued to maintain maritime
traffic through the route and remains among one of the countries with the
highest number of vessels transiting the Strait.

Dead As Truck Carrying Refugees From Pakistan Overturns In Afghanistan. Among
the dead were 10 children and five women, and the injured were taken to
hospitals in Nangarhar.
At least seven people have been killed in separate incidents
of thunderstorms, heavy rain and lightning strikes across Bihar. Expressing
grief over the tragic incidents, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has announced
an ex-gratia grant of ₹4 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased.
A total of 11 people have lost their lives and 11 others
have been injured in five separate accidents reported across Uttarakhand during
