Prime Minister
released the 23rd instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi
(PM-KISAN) scheme on 20 June 2026. An amount of ₹18,880 crore will be
transferred directly into the bank accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmers
across India.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that under the
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, a total of ₹977.89 crore
has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of 285,571 farmers in the
state up to the 22nd instalment.
In Manipur, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla presented the 7th
Governor’s Art Award to noted artist Yendrembam Ibochouba Singh in recognition
of his contribution to the field of fine arts. The award was conferred at a
solemn function held at the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Minister’s Office in
Mantripukhri, Imphal East.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the Jowai-Nartiang-Kdiap-Khanduli
road project, spanning 59.955 kilometres in Meghalaya. The project, funded by
the New Development Bank at a cost of about Rs. 59.48 crore, was inaugurated at
the Wahiajer Multi Sports Complex Stadium in West Jaintia Hills district.
In Keralam, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and
Natural Gas and Tourism, Suresh Gopi, inaugurated the PM-Kisan Utsav Diwas
event organized by the ICAR-CTCRI in Thiruvananthapuram.
A mega district-level
programme marking the release of the 23rd instalment under the PM-KISAN scheme
was organised at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kargil, in collaboration with the
Agriculture Department.
BJP National President Nitin Nabin yesterday began his

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu released
3,125 crore rupees as the first instalment of financial assistance under the

at the rate of seven thousand rupees per farmer, was credited to the accounts
of 46.85 lakh farmers across Andhra Pradesh.

The World Bank has approved a loan of Rs. 4,000 crore under
the Rs. 5,714 crore ‘Jal Sanrakshit Haryana’ Project, aimed at making the state

have been created in the state, covering an area of 48.94 lakh acres.

The government banned the manufacture, sale and distribution
of 16 fixed-dose combination (FDC) drugs for human use with immediate effect.
In Manipur, ten persons wanted in multiple high-profile
cases have been arrested by a combined team of the National Investigation
Agency, Manipur Police and the CRPF. The arrests were made during coordinated
raids carried out across several districts, including Imphal, Churachandpur and
Ukhrul.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will challenge the
acquittal of former Maharashtra Home Minister Padamsinh Patil and seven others
in the 2006 murder case of Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar and his driver.
Delivering the verdict, Special CBI Court Judge Satyanarayan
Navandar observed that the prosecution had failed to establish the chain of
conspiracy beyond reasonable doubt.

This newly inducted Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV), designated as
