are opposed to any Iranian fees or restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s IRGC warns it will not accept unauthorised passage
through the strait, as Hormuz remains a major sticking point between Washington

& PUNISHMENT:
Calcutta High Court: The High Court has expressed
displeasure regarding the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the
prominent RG Kar case, demanding swifter answer.
The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested eight individuals
just hours after an SIT interim report exposed heavy cash and valuables
embezzlement from Ram Mandir donations. The accused are booked under strict
provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and could face life
imprisonment.
J&K Police-Army Clash: An Army Commanding Officer along
with dozens of soldiers have been booked after they allegedly stormed a local
police station and assaulted police personnel in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.
Pan-India Cybercrime Crackdown: The CBI conducted widespread
raids across 80 sites across the country to take down a massive, organized
"digital arrest" and cybercrime racket.
TARATOLA ACCIDENT , KOLKATA:
Police have arrested six individuals so far on TARATOLA
accident. This includes the structural engineer (Kamal Samanta), the land
lessee, the labour supplier, and Kalicharan Banerjee (an Officer on Special
Duty to the former KMC Mayor). The death toll has
risen to 11 as multiple agencies and disaster response teams race
against time to pull out workers trapped under the concrete and debris of the
under-construction factory shed. Contractors did not maintain proper logbooks
for the labourers.
MISHAPS:

Operational search and rescue missions backed by the Indian
Air Force are actively underway in Arunachal Pradesh following fatal flash
floods.
Nand Nagri Bus Crash (Delhi): An out-of-control public bus
ran over multiple vehicles—including a taxi and three motorcycles—in a crowded
area, resulting in one fatality and several injuries before the driver fled the
scene.
Karol Bagh Bus Overturn (Delhi): Late at night, a bus
carrying around 25 passengers lost control and overturned near the Jhandewalan
Temple, leaving multiple commuters severely injured.
Mandsaur Highway Collision (Madhya Pradesh): A speeding car
rammed into the back of a truck near Sita Mau on the highway, killing four
passengers and injuring two others.
Poonamallee Road Accident (Chennai): A tragic update on a
roadside crash confirmed the death toll rose to two Armed Reserve Police
constables after a speeding car struck them while they stood next to their
parked vehicle.
Gurugram Flyover Freak Accident (Haryana): During a severe
storm, a heavy iron reinforcing rod fell from an under-construction flyover on
the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari National Highway. It pierced straight through the
roof of a moving car, though nobody was hurt.
WEATHER:
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the
conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into parts
of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and
Uttarakhand during the next three to four days.

rains have caused regional landslides, bridge collapses, and localized river
