India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a release that conditions are
favourable for further advance of the southwest monsoon into some more parts of
the North Arabian Sea and some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, among
other States, during the next two to three days. According to weather forecasting agency SKYMET,
Delhi is likely to see the arrival of monsoon on July 4 if conditions remain
favourable.

"extremely heavy rainfall" warning for sub-Himalayan West Bengal,
warning of active landslides and flash flood conditions near the Bhutan border.
Red & Orange Rainfall Alerts: Sub-Himalayan West Bengal,

heavy" downpours exceeding 20 cm. Flash flood warnings and high landslide
risks are active.
Southern Orange Alert: Kerala (Kannur and Kasaragod
districts) is under an orange alert for very heavy rain, with the rest of the
state under a heavy rain yellow warning.
Heatwave Warnings: Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR face
continued severe heat today. Temperatures will max out near 40–42°C before a
