Maharashtra govt has banned 114 radical publications through
a gazette notification following investigations by the Anti-Terrorism Squad
(ATS) and intelligence inputs.

The Home Department stated that these publications were

The Strait of Hormuz Standoff: Iran's Reopening Conditions:
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that reopening the
Strait of Hormuz is strictly conditional on the US lifting its naval blockade
and paying compensation for war damages. Iran's Supreme National Security
Council laid out six specific demands, including an end to US threats and the
unfreezing of Iranian assets.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary, Mohammad
Bagher Zolghadr, said the US must “correct its behaviour”.
Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says Iran is not the
target of the defence pact signed between Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan –
and nobody is a target as long as they don’t attack one of the pact members.
US Vice President JD Vance says Iran has told the US that it
has “no plans” to impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz.
Vance also said the US is seeking “a commitment from the

scam uses fake or AI-generated profiles to lure victims into paying booking
fees, security deposits and advance payments, with scammers potentially using
personal information for blackmail.
The government has debunked a message circulating on social
media claiming that India Post is offering gifts and rewards under ‘Dak Seva
Gifts’. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau clarified that
India Post has no connection with any such ‘Dak Seva Gifts’ offer, reward
scheme, or lucky draw.

all Person-to-Person transactions will continue to be free of charge.
The Finance Ministry in a statement said, consumers will not face any
transaction charges while making payments through UPI, while the vast majority
of merchant transactions will also remain free of charge. It said that if
Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) charges are introduced, they will apply only to a
limited set of merchant transactions above a certain threshold and at a nominal
rate.
