President Donald Trump's latest declarations on the war state that Iran is "begging to make a deal," but he has no immediate intention of meeting with Iranian leadership.

In a highly provocative move, Trump shared a map on social media depicting the Strait of Hormuz as "new U.S. territory". He claimed that since the U.S. military successfully cleared the waterway of Iranian sea mines, the U.S. effectively exercises sovereignty over it.

The legal challenges from Oman and the United Nations (UN) firmly reject President Donald Trump’s claim over the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the United States cannot lawfully acquire sovereignty over the waterway.

NEPAL FLOOD:

Current Status of Rescue Operations--Massive Airlift Efforts: The Nepal Army has successfully airlifted 2,465 people to safety, including 163 foreign nationals from various locations cut off by road collapses. Emergency helicopters are currently prioritizing food drops and medicine deliveries to completely isolated pockets like Dhunche, Rasuwa, and Syaphru Besi.

Hydropower Tunnel Rescues: Active military rescue teams have sent critical air pipes down into the mud-clogged tunnels of the Trishuli 3A and 3B hydropower projects. Over 191 workers have been pulled out alive so far, though hundreds remain trapped beneath sub-surface debris.
